About us
When Julia and Martin first met in the Autumn of 2007, they had three cats and two dogs (an overweight fox terrier and a staffie/collie cross). Their love of animals soon led them to began building up their happy little family. A couple of years down the line, they now own a menagerie of animals of:-
a purr of cats;
a peck of chickens;
a very loud noise of geese (Emdems, Toulouse, Norfolks, 
Canada and Chinese); a quack of ducks (Indian Runners);
an oink of pigs (Gloucester Old Spots & Kune Kunes);
a woof of mad dogs; and
a cute but quiet little leopard gecko that tends to keep his head down around the cats!
Julia
Julia has now achieved her Foundation Degree in Aminal Science having already passed the HNC and HND in Animal Science which included modules such as Animal Behaviour, Nursing and Nutrition.
She also used to do volunteer work for the Wellingborough and Rushden Cats Protection League.
As well as the pet sitting services, Julia also does pet portraits (or paw-traits!) Martin
Martin, born and bred in Pembrokeshire, holds the Class 1 Agricultural Craftsman Certificate (22938) in Milk Production and Animal Husbandry for the National Council for Agriculture in Milking Dairy Hygiene and Cattle Stock Tasks and has previously had many years experience looking after over 400 head of stock per day before becoming a fully qualified electrician.
Martin also runs his own business, PEMBS - Property, Environmental, Maintenance, Building Services Limited, offering electrical services, house clearances, general maintenance, power cleaning, fencing and collection and delivery service (see www.hughes-pembs.co.uk for more details).
Between them, they provide quality expert advice and services in their respective fields, giving their clients total satisfaction with whatever service they offer.
